The bingo has invented from Italian Lotto game and has modified at the Germans and French. This game is played by children and adults. However, as every game has some basics, also the game has some essentials that every player should know to play either offline, online or downloading it to your computer.
The most important part of the game is the cards and tickets. As the game begins, each player will get a sheet, which has 6 cards with a total of 90 numbers. On every card you will find, 27 spaces set in 3 rows x 9 columns format. Each number is different; therefore, it will not be repetitive anywhere in the sheet.
What you have to do is, organize the numbers, which are called out by the caller with what you have on your sheet and aim to filing up a pattern reading BINGO. The pattern would be declared at the starting of the game, so you have to be alert to know what pattern you are looking for. The cards have the BINGO letters on row and the numbers seeing as a column. A caller called out a letter-number combination, which you have to mark off on your sheet.
Your object would be to cover the given pattern by matching the numbers and letter called. The patterns can be anything like T shapes, U shape etc, though it generally is vertical or horizontal. Once you completed the pattern, you should yell out BINGO and you will get the prize money. If other players also yelled at the same time, the prize will be shared among all winners.
With online version of the game your cards are randomly generated by the computer and you can play with lots of cards sometimes as many as 100 or more. Generally you will require more than 3 or 4 cards. A caller or a display board will show your number and you will need to complete the pattern showed to win the game. Some online games will have the facility to the player that computer automatically search and marked the numbers for you. Some people find this automation a spoilsport but some actually love the essentials that all they want to win the game.
The form of playing at online version is same as that of playing at land-based halls.
